Here at Panther Trikes we have been manufacturing and fitting bike to trike conversions for over 10 years and in that time we have converted 100’s of bikes! We now build stock Trikes for sale and take on a number of customer bike to Trike conversions.

Why buy a Panther Goldwing?

The donor bike:

All Panther Stock builds are constructed using pre-selected bikes of the best quality and before being sold are put through a full engine service. The service includes an oil and filter change, new spark plugs and most importantly a cam belt change.

A full MOT, DVLA Paperwork and  12 month warranty is included with every Trike, this also includes 12 months roadside assistance should you ever need it.

The Trike conversion:

Panther conversions start with our specifically designed sub-frame. These subframes have been drawn using the latest CAD technology which then allows them to be laser cut, folded and welded for a precision fit and absolute reliability.

All Panthers body work is constructed from GRP Fibreglass. The methodical production process of this is all done by hand using 450-gram matting and marine grade resin to ensure weather resistance and strength.

Once constructed, trimmed and shaped to fit, the bodywork is then moved onto the paint process. Every effort is made to match the original paintwork of the donor bike by having the paint professionally mixed to match a physical sample panel from the bike.

The paint is usually a 3 or 4 stage process that starts with an etch primer before moving on to the fill and prime stage that creates the ultra smooth surface onto which the first coat of colour can be applied. A second coat of colour is then added before being finished off with several coats of lacquer. The final stage is to then flat the lacquer back before machine polishing to a high gloss finish.

All the automotive components used in our builds are brand new and sourced from trusted suppliers. The 16” Wheels are a standard 4 stud silver alloy. Our shock absorbers, drive shafts, brake calipers and cables are all performance quality and have been specifically designed for the Panther conversion. The main drive unit (differential) is a fully reconditioned Dana 7 ½” that offers a near perfect gearing ratio to the original Goldwing.

The Panther B Series.

The bare bones of this conversion sub frame and swing arm have been developed by our in house design team and drawn up using the latest CAD Technology. This enables us to have each chassis laser cut giving us 100% accuracy on every conversion.

The independent rear suspension axle uses fully adjustable, gaz, coil over shock suspension and moves effortlessly with the contours of the road by allowing each wheel to move independently of the other. Pot holes and manhole covers are a worry of the past for B Series riders.

The B Series performance braking system offers stopping power that is second to none. Using our uniquely designed Panther Trikes calipers , you can be sure your using the right brakes for your individual machine.

The B Series is an all inclusive conversion that comes complete with running boards and rake kit.

The Panther Original.

The Panther Original Range is exactly that, Our classic , Signature conversions that started Panther Trikes over 10 years ago.

Available for both the GL1500 & GL1800 this independent rear suspension conversion comes complete with performance brakes, new alloy wheels and tyres, handbrake and colour matched paint. The rear body work houses a large boot space that can easily accommodate 2 helmets and has locking chrome handles.
